Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Shitlakhet, Himadri Homestay offers a tranquil escape into the heart of nature. Surrounded by lush jungle, the atmosphere is imbued with a sense of adventure. One of the highlights of this homestay is its proximity to breathtaking sunset viewpoints. Host was friendly and had a willingness to go extra mile to enhance the overall experience. A particularly memorable moment was when the host graciously accompanied us on a nighttime leopard sightseeing excursion, adding an element of excitement and safety to the adventure. The meals served were amazing. There is a very tiny restaurant just next to homestay serving delicious momos and noodles, adding a texture to the experience of Shitlakhet.

Lovely place with wonderful view of the Himalayas in the morning from the terrace. Caretaker Pratap was quite proactive and responsive always. Carry all the required stuff for the stay as the local market is very small, you will get essential things although in nearby shops. There is no medical shop in walking distance so carry all the required medicines with you.

Nice and peaceful place to stay after a long and hectic drive with kids 😅. The view through balcony was scenic and amazing. Food was just like home and host was really helpful. 👌

The place to stay was good. The view was very nice with a big balcony, big rooms, everything was great. But the Kitchen didn't have any utensils as it was shown and mentioned too. We had food in their restaurant, food was okayish sometimes good sometimes average. The host was good, he accepted all criticism and talked very nicely. Reaching the place is difficult. Some roads are good, some are really bad. There are improvements which can be surely made so that whenever the guests come they have a great stay.

Himadri has been a wonderful experience. We stayed for 3 Nights and the stay was extremely comfortable. The view of the Himalyas and the Valley is mesmerizing. The views are unmatchable and could not have been better. Both the rooms offer these wonderful views opening into the large balcony. What has stood out has been the very friendly and proactive demeanor of Pathak Ji who ensured that our stay was extremely comfortable. Also Mr Harsh and Pratapji were there to take care of any requirements and were just a call away. Pratapji ensures that fresh homely food is served to the guests as per their requirements. We shall surely come back again to Himadri and wish the team all the very best.
