I had a lovely stay here. The location is excellent, Tesco Express directly opposite, within easy walk of places like The Deep, and various museums and shops. I was very cozy when sleeping, but a bit cold during the day. I was also warned of the noise from the street on Friday and Saturday nights, but I had no issues getting to sleep. Glenn and Alan were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. I was here for work on this occasion, but I'd love to visit again if I do some backpacking in the area!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Hostel. Glenn was an amazing host who greeted me personally, explained and showed around and went the extra mile with few bits that I asked for/ needed. The supervisor (I believe) Alan is also super friendly and welcoming and he has a gorgeous staffie too 🥹 These guys made me feel right at home and You can tell that they’ve been hostel’ing for a while and love what they’re doing! I came to Hull to compete at a bodybuilding event and took a triple en-suite room for myself which was next to a Dorm occupied by young boys, but surprisingly it was totally fine and not too noisy even though the walls are quite thin out there. Kitchen was well equipped, communal area had cool & cosy vibes. My only ‘negative review’ was that I found the room (esp bathroom) slightly cold and my room was facing a Church with never ending bell rings 🤦🏻‍♀️ Otherwise I loved my stay and highly recommend this place!

Keeping in mind this is a hostel and the price paid it is excellent. The central location in Hull Old Town is great, for entertainment and travel links. The level of peace and quiet is dependent on the other guests. There are plenty of memos around reminding guests to be respectful and tidy. Facilities and Iconic building are clean and tidy and well organised. Free Tea and a Breakfast Honesty Box is available in the shared Kitchen area. Staff are really knowledgeable, friendly, flexible with check-in times and always available via phone for issues - I felt safe there (I had my own private room not a dorm). The room and bedding were clean, the bed comfy enough for me to sleep well. Great fast Wi-Fi and they are Pet friendly- Such an amazing stay, will definitely be back!
