La Tuilliere is in a glorious location totally surrounded by fields and not far from a village with a Tabac. The pool is great and lovely to have the barn with table tennis and a boule pitch. The outside seating is very comfortable, especially for supper outside the front in the evening light. Aside from one bed, they all have ends so if you are very tall, be aware. The kitchen is very well equipped and the downstairs bedroom suite is lovely. Great local restaurants.

La Tuilliere is a magical house in a wonderful location which is private and peaceful but not too isolated. We spent two weeks there with our extended family. Lots of space, and renovated to a very high standard. We spent our days reading, drinking local wine and enjoying the fabulous pool. The television was never switched on, always a good sign! We enjoyed the local area very much. It is a beautiful part of the world, but not overrun by tourists. We visited the local towns of Duras and Eymet, the latter being great for restaurants. We also enjoyed the market at Issigeac, and ventured farther afield to St Emillion and Bordeaux. All in all, a wonderful destination. Strongly recommended.

La Tuilliere is awesome. We travelled as a three-generation family group of ten people, spanning ages 11 - 71. La T pleased everyone. The pool was superb - salted and heated so not harsh upon your skin at all and a great size, with room for everyone. The house is situated in the most perfect little hamlet with privacy and peace; the teenagers ran several miles each day through interesting countryside and loved it whilst the older adults rambled four gentle miles each day and felt safe at all times. We saw deer and hare along with a resident buzzard circling the field for prey each day. Even the thunderstorm was much enjoyed! The house is really well-equipped and there were no annoyances like over-zealous clearing away so that there isn't a salt pot etc.: there was a sensible cupboard full of things that you only need a little of. We employed the local cook that Julia recommended and she was excellent, delivering a home-cooked meal for ten each night at dinner time. We soaked up some local culture, visited medieval towns, tasted wine and sampled boulangeries far and wide - there is little we haven't learned about chocolate pastries! We had a lovely time and have been inspired to look for a renovation project ourselves by this beautiful house.
