We LOVED our stay at Mike and Arlene’s cabin! The cabin itself was just the right size; spacious enough to cook full meals and have a bit of breathing room, but small enough to still feel cozy and minimal. Mike was so friendly and helpful—from greeting us and showing us the ropes, to tips on things to do in the area, to even letting us borrow a larger pot and colander so we could could cook a full pound of pasta—so kind and welcoming. The view of the river and cows across the way was just lovely for morning coffee, and access to the river on foot was a huge perk. Such a great experience. We will be back!

The O' Brien's property was very secluded, but easy to find with good access in and out. The cabin had beautiful views from a bluff deck overlooking the Big Piney River and valley pasture land. The river was walking distance down the quiet dirt road from the cabin on the bluff. The cabin was very homey and comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed to stay several days and make our own meals. Licking is not too far, if wanting to get out to eat, or needing groceries. The O'Brien's provided some condiments we forgot. Michael and Arlene made us feel very welcome, were happy to meet any needs we might have, at the same time making us feel like we had their whole property to ourself. Will definitely book this cabin again when coming to the area, and will recommend to any couple looking for a quiet getaway.

Mike and Arlene's place was a perfect place to celebrate my wife's birthday. Their hospitality and the beauty of the area made it very hard to go home. Can't wait for our next adventure to The "O'Brein" cabin.
