Great views, quiet, peaceful. Lots of friendly wildlife on the water. Peter was great in terms of communication and was there 24/7 if you needed anything. Being a travel RN, I was doing shift work; so I was at the cabin less than half of the time. I was able to get good rest every day and it was super quiet. I was a little disappointed when a week in, I was informed I wasn’t able to have my partner over for the rest of the duration due to the hosts having family over (utilities/septic tank usage). For my days off, I drove back to Ottawa. But while I was at the cabin, 10/10, felt just like home.

Absolutely perfect not much more to say! This is our 3rd time staying at Peter & Elaine’s boathouse and each time we have loved every minute of it - a peaceful retreat with a beautiful view and wonderful accommodations. Peter & Elaine are gracious hosts who go out of there way to ensure your stay is perfect! I tell all my friends about this place - a true gem!
