We didn't believe that we got so much value when we got there. This place is beautiful, cozy, and makes you feel right at home. All of the facilities are a massive plus. Derek also gave us good ski tips when he heard we were heading to snowmass mountain! Big recommendation!
Truly the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. From the moment of arrival you can tell that Jennifer makes every effort to furnish their home to make guests feel welcome and have a lovely experience. She was extremely friendly and checked on us while we were driving due to storm conditions, her dogs were adorable and so nice to get to meet especially being away from our own pets for the trip. Too many little things that she did to mention, but every detail has been considered for the guest's comfort. The hot-tub was spotless, the fireplace was amazingly warm, the couch was super comfortable, all the linens, towels and bath robes were pristine and laid out for our arrival, slippers provided for walking out to hot-tub, complementary snacks and wine were provided, plenty of fridge/freezer space available, they let the guest use the garage spot. I could go on-and-on, but needless to say - this is THE premier hidden gem of Airbnb and i cannot wait to go back - Thank you so much Jennifer!
Jennifer clearly loves hosting as every detail has been considered when hosting. She makes it clear that if it’s not there just ask. She went above and beyond helping us with our very senior dog who was welcomed into her pack most graciously. If you don’t like dogs it may not be the place for you. We loved her 3 precious dogs. The pristine hot tub was wonderful after great days skiing. We’d like to come back to go fly fishing with her and Derek.
For a second time, we had a fantastic stay at this place! Jen is a fantastic house, and makes this listing a great reminder of what the AirBnB experience was originally intended to be. Could not recommend more!

Jenny is a Colorado native and has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley on and off since she was a child. Derek Grzelewski her husband, is from New Zealand and the highly acclaimed author of such books as the: “Trout Diaries”, “Trout Bohemia” and soon to be published “Trout Dreams”. In their spare time, Jen and a Derek can be found traveling, flyfishing in remote locales and backcountry skiing.
