Welcome to 1880 Log Cabin. A private getaway in the Mountains. Hidden in the Mt. Sopris valley. - Queen bed and Sofa Bed - High speed wifi, Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more - Fenced in yard with Patio and Outdoor Dining - Stream running through Property - Fully Stocked kitchen and Washer/Dryer - 30 minutes from Aspen Skiing and Glenwood Hot Springs Turkeys, deer, hummingbirds, rabbits, and occasionally a peaceful bear Fully furnished 1880 log cabin nestled in a snowy horse pasture at the base of a valley. The wood-burning fireplace keeps you cozy and warm throughout the winter. Great location to relax after a long day of skiing.

it was on a nice little farm with great views
We loved IIona’s place..It was in a beautiful location close enough to everything while seeming far away and rural. It was only 20 min to the Brush creek parking area in Snowmass so very convenient for skiing. Basalt has everything you could need plus some good restaurants,. We travel with our dog so it was perfect for that with a fenced yard plus the dirt road it is located on is good for the morning dog walk before skiing. Kitchen was well stocked, bed comfy, couch comfy, toasty cabin.. very comfortable for 2 adults and a German Shepard. I think it’s our favorite this winter. Thanks , we hope to stay again.

Outside the City of Basalt, away from the city noise and lights. Extremely safe and quiet area. There are other rental cabins on the ranch, so there’s a chance to meet other travelers from all over the globe.
We are a 5-minute drive from the local bus stop. We typically take the bus to the ski slopes to avoid the hassles of parking. The bus is 20 minutes from the slopes and drops you off right at the lift.
