Honestly can't give this enough stars nor put into words how beautiful trout rise and the surrounding areas are. This place is a gem and a golden opportunity to enjoy a peaceful getaway. Catherine is super friendly and an amazing host. Will definitely be staying here again!

The cabins are in the most amazing spot. This is rural Devon at it's finest. The river sound flowing when going to bed was for me the best part. It's just such a stunning location. The cabin is quite remote, but easy to drive 3 miles North to a great pub or South to little village with 3 great places to eat with the best pizzas too. The cabin itself is much nicer than the photos suggest. It's just like a swiss chalet with all the wood beams and cosy feeling. The place is very clean and looks well made. We didn't explore all that much as it was a very rainy few days with the storm, but still loved every minute. Exeter isn't far, plus there are great walks along the river. I would love to experience the place in the summer with the kids running around in the grounds. I saw an old fenced off pool, but presume it's too much upkeep or responsibility for Kay the owner, but if it did have that in the summer months I'm sure it would be twice the price and still well worth the cost.

Beautiful location in Dartmoor, many trails nearby and places for climbing outdoors too!

Expectations absolutely blown out the water. A STUNNING place! Everything we hoped for and more. Loved the little extras like the board games and decorations! A truly blissful couple of days. Instructions for arrival were spot on. Extremely clean, anything you could have needed was there. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We did plan on going for a walk but we were so cozy we stayed in instead. We've stayed in quite a few Air BnBs but this by a long shot is our number 1 favorite. Highly highly recommended.
