Everything about our stay at Guy and Gaby’s place was perfect. The grounds were spectacular and well maintained. The home was clean and we had everything we needed, including a delicious French pastry upon our arrival. Guy and Gaby were most gracious and helpful, and were responsive communicators. Because of the location, we were within minutes of the Provence areas we wanted to visit. When we would arrive “home” each day, we spent time in the lovely pool. Each evening, we enjoyed a visit from Gucci, the dog. If you like to walk into town, it is a short walk to pick up morning croissants at the patisserie. If you have the opportunity to stay in this lovely home, you will not be disappointed.

I don't know where to start first. Praising the most wonderull hosts Gaby and Guy or the beauty of this perfectly situated and tranquil estate. Even if you're not a frequent and experienced traveller like us, you'll find Le Moulin de la Roque without any problems. Before we arrived at the gate, which PIN Number we already had been sent, we drove through a magnificent cypress and flower lined driveway and when we arrived at the main house we were greeted by Gaby and Gucci, which must be the loveliest dog in the Provence. Even before we unpacked Gaby showed us around this immediately captivating estate. Le Moulin, a more then 300 year old former mill has been most beautifully restored into an assembly of cottages and a main house situated between a creek and a rock. All buildings blend into each other perfectly and all are in a distance from each other that it offers enough privacy. All cottages have a view into either the vast garden that even has a boule alley, trampolines for the kids and a well sized swimming pool with table football next to it that our 3 boys loved to play with the other kids. Over our stay in La Tuilerie, wich was perfect for us as two families of seven, Gaby and Guy were kind enough to show us around the other cottages and the rooms of the main house. We could tell Moulin de la Roque is a real labor of love. Every detail is tastefull, the bedrooms and beds are comfortable, the bathrooms with rainbowshowers have modern fittings, the kitchen was well equipped so cooking meals for us all was easy. The icing on the cake is Gaby's carefully and thoughtfully edited a guide book for the surrounding towns, villages, attractions and even the Camargue, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. We strongly recommend to follow the restaurant guide to avoid disappointments. If your language skills are lacking, Gaby can help you with table reservations. I particularily loved that the sequence of the towns and villages listed in the guide was according to the weekday when they had markets. WLAN, too was working well throughout. As I stated at the beginning, we are frequent travellers and demanding, too, especially concerning aesthetics, cleanliness and hospitality. Nothing had left us anything to wish for and we are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Gaby and Guy for a beautiful week, your hospitality and your kindness. Angela, Trystan and Zete
