Nice peaceful stay. House could use a coat of paint inside and out but it’s comfy and met our needs.

This house is indeed old as stated in the listing, but that is what gives it its charm. I found it quiet and peaceful and next to a cemetery. No ghostly activities to worry about. While it could use some cosmetic touch ups, it also holds its historic spot with the decor from its era. The location is central to many historic places and easy to get to. Paul was easy to communicate with.

The historic charm of this house is wonderful and it made for a memorable stay. The whole village is nice and charming and was a cool experience to have had. It’s also convenient to many of things one would want to do in the area. The house has many modern refinements like a good hot water heater and WiFi that keep you in this era but furnished with enough antiques to help connect you with the past so you can get a feel for the house’s history. Also from the upstairs laundry room you can get a great view of the morning sunrise over the mountains which is a pleasant sight. When I stayed in February/March 2023 it seemed like even more cosmetic upgrades would be made, and those would only further improve the experience. But still nice for a historic home as is. While many rightfully found this house & street to be quiet, I agree that it is way calmer than a city is but for those with certain ear issues it is on the prominent road through town so cars do drive right by the house

The house was very roomy and centrally located to so many great historical things. The house also had everything we needed.
