Al is an excellent host who is both responsive and professional. His property is located right on the Intracoastal, offering a breathtaking view. My favorite feature of Al's place was the patio, where I could relax and watch boats pass by, all while enjoying a front-row seat to the beautiful sunset. The interior of the property was well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the necessary supplies. Although we did notice some peeling paint in some areas that previous reviewers had mentioned, it wasn't a significant issue, given its proximity to the water and the building's age. The property was spacious, and my family of four had plenty of space. We didn't spend much time inside, though, as we enjoyed exploring the area and taking in the beautiful views. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed walking around the area. The walk to the beach and pier is super close too. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

The good - the view of the intercoastal is spectacular! You could spend every day watching the boats. The short walk to the beach and downtown eateries is also great! The bad - parts of the unit require some upkeep (the hot water faucet in main bath, areas of rot in the main bath, the windows don’t open (or not easily) therefore AC was required most of the time when it wasn’t that hot. The ugly - the curb appeal and front door area were disappointing, as was the large side by side fridge in the back room that wasn’t plugged in, only taking up space (a nice little work table / storage cabinet in that area would’ve been great). Over all the place grew on us, but first impressions were not impressive. The one time we reached out to Al, he was very responsive. This is a diamond in the rough, it just could use a little upkeep. Thanks for having us!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Al’s intracoastal waterfront property. It was clean, neat, and in a perfect location. It could not have been better. We were able to fish (and catch) everyday right from the backyard. Even saw sea turtles/manatees swimming by! While we still chose to drive most places, the pier/beach would be walkable! Al was a wonderful communicator and host during our stay. We would definitely book and stay here again! This was our first experience with an AirBnB, and it was extremely enjoyable! Never stayed. Problem beyond control of owner. Owner was on top of the problem, but beyond his control.
