I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jeff and Shannon's property. First and foremost, they are amazing hosts!! I have communicated with Jeff, Linda, and Sarah on multiple occasions, they are exceptional people, were always available and responded promptly. They are accommodating and professional. Location of the property is very convenient, within walking distance to all the museums on Miracle Mile, shops and restaurants along Fairfax and Wilshire, and in close proximity to The Grove. The apartment is spacious, has all the necessary amenities and is well kept up. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, the kitchen has all the appliances, dishes and cooking supplies you need. Parking space is in a secured garage which is important in Los Angeles. If you are interested in staying in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles, I highly recommend you connect with Jeff and Shannon to book a stay at their properties.

My husband and I felt the place was way overpriced for what it was. My mom stopped in before we went to dinner one night she saw the place and said “what a dump!” There is a slightly hidden homeless encampment near the back side of the apartment building, where the parking lot is. When seated in the apartment, the most of the views are terrible. Because of the way the building is designed, you see the walls of other parts of the building. The furniture looks pretty cheap. Terrible, harsh, very bright light bulbs throughout most of the apartment. There was mildew or mold in the caulking in the bathroom. Shower head was cheap, therefore it created a mist went all over the place, instead of a directed shower. There was a cigarette hole in one of the curtains. The placed needed a good dusting. I wouldn’t recommend having a package delivered to this place. My package went missing. I reported this to the host the day after it was delivered to the building. After a few days of still not being able to find the package, I asked the host to have the building management review the video surveillance footage of the mailroom, at which point the package magically appeared to the exact place FedEx noted it was delivered days before (a spot I had checked numerous times). The central air conditioning is inconsistent one bedroom is much cooler than another. The desk space is extremely cramped. There is very little space between the bed and the desk. I wouldn’t plan on working from there for an extended period of time. After we paid, we were sent a lease agreement which we were told we needed to sign. The document stated that the host would not be liable for injuries and/or damages that happened to me or my family while staying at the property. I think it’s absurd that they wouldn’t just include any and all rules/waiving of liability on the Airbnb post. I told them this and I let them know they could cancel the booking if they wanted to, but that I wouldn’t be signing that. They then spoke to the “team” and decided they would make an “exception”. They leave the place unlocked before you check in, which could potentially lead to a criminal meeting you in the apartment. There are a few good things: Central location. If you want to be able to get to everything in LA; this place is great for that. You can bring your dog. Covered parking They allowed for early check-in (at no cost) and late check out (for a fee). I’m not sure how much they are giving to charity for each rental (sounds like a marketing tool to me), but considering what they are giving guests for the money, they may want to consider cutting the charity donations or recommending that guests make a donation, so the pricing is aligned to the experience. I’d only recommend this place to someone young with low expectations, who is looking for a centrally located crash pad, and is not paying for the place themselves.

Amazing location, all services around the site, the flat was very good, all accessories and appliances were available and clean, accessibility was easy, property manager and staff was kind and helpful.
