Prachtige woning, in de rust en de natuur. Ik zou iedereen deze mooie, goed onderhouden woning aanraden. Ana is een super host en regelt alles perfect. Een kleine tip voor mensen die zouden gaan: geef de honden van de buren wat eten, dan zijn ze onmiddellijk je beste vriend.

Fantastic property for relaxation and immersing yourself in nature. Very comfortable. Great host, excellent communication, the log burner is a real treat to get cozy in the evenings. Property has been designed with the perfect balance of modern fixtures and the feel of natural beauty. Great place to stay 💫❤️

Really lovely house in the middle of nature. We had some issues when we first arrived as there was no water and one of the lights was flickering but Ana was super responsive and both the issues were sorted the next morning. If you're looking at this place you'll know it's very remote but there are some amazing beaches and food a short drive away (Praia de Odeceixe was our favourite!) Be aware that some of the roads in the area are very bad but you can navigate around them. From driving around, the area also seemed to be pretty badly hit by the wildfires. Ana's instructions on how to get to the house were very clear so we were prepared for the road down but it was a bit tricksy every time! A couple of other people mentioned the neighbours' dogs who are big and do bark (and one has a little cowbell that rattles and decided to come for a nighttime visit) but they are totally fine. They seemed to quieten down and get used to us after the first night. A very restful and restorative place.

Ana's place is very lovely and is in a beautiful location! She is a very nice host and responded quickly to our messages and tried to support where possible. However during the night the neighbors dogs kept us awake and were also roaming the garden of Ana's house at night, even when the gate was closed (as this not closed very well, and calling it a gate is stretching it a bit). Also the outside shower was unusable during our stay because the structure around it was collapsing, the rest of the garden and garden furniture is also need of some care and/or replacement. The inside of the house on the other hand was nice and the beds were very comfortable. If the outside of the house and the garden furniture etc. gets fixed up, Ana's place is well worth a stay.
