Fantastic accommodation for family groups. Belle Mar is extremely well equipped for all family needs from excellent kitchen equipment and layout to fresh spacious rooms with comfortable furnishings. There is also a huge selection of family entertainment options from dvds to books whilst only being a short walk to local shops, eating out and outdoor pursuits. The host is attentive throughout the booking process and easy to contact if needed including during stay in accommodation. Check in / checkout procedures well administered and easy to follow. The house is comfortable, very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend this accommodation for a family visiting the Isle of Arran.

A great ‘home-away-from-home’ stay for our family. A really comfortable space that felt homey, had two large bedrooms, and a friendly, proactive host in Karen. A gem of a spot, just a quick walk into Lamlash. There are a few small play areas within walking distance, beach, the Coast Discovery Centre, tennis courts, Co-op, and a number of good restaurants. We have young children and it’s hard to find a space that works well for them, but this had slightly lower twin beds, a travel cot with bedding, and a range of board games to suit even our toddler. Plenty of plates/cutlery (including plates/cups for little visitors), alongside a supply of tea, coffee and shortbread. Access to the driveway can be tricky (esp from West), but there is a road to a campground immediately across so that makes access very easy. We pulled in forwards & there was sufficient space to turn around at the back of the property. We’ll definitely look to book again!

We enjoyed a lovely short break at Shane's house in Lamlash. Nice warm house with plenty of space and walkable to all attractions in Lamlash. Regular buses to Brodick and the south of the island too. Karen was very responsive and check in was easy.

We stayed 4 nights as a base while working long wet hours in the forest. The cottage was warm and comfortable with plenty on space to dry wet cloths. Highly recommend this host for anyone on a walking or working visit to Lamlash. 5 *****👍
