Das besten Air BnB während unserer 5-wöchigen Reise! Liebevoll eingerichtete und sehr saubere Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Der wunderschöne Garten bietet tolle Tiersichtungen. Vor allem am Abend kann man viele Frösche beobachten. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Müsli, Obst, frischer Saft, Eier, Marmelade und selbstgemachtes Brot. Andrea kennt sich sehr gut mit den Tieren aus und kann einem die grünen Aras zeigen. In der Anzeige stand, dass wir ein Gemeinschaftsbad haben, wir hatten jedoch ein privates Badezimmer. Also davon nicht verunsichern lassen.

Bien qu'à côté de la route (les camions peuvent être bruyants mais rien qui n'empêche de se prélasser et dormir) l'endroit est splendide. Un véritable petit coin de paradis. Un jardin sépare les chambres ce qui permet d'être isolé. Très bon accueil d'Alex, on se sent comme à la maison. Il est de très bon conseil sur les activités et extrêmement serviable, nous étions en deplacement en bus et il nous a proposé plusieurs fois de nous déposer à tel ou tel endroit. Il nous a aussi fait un tour du jardin pour observer les grenouilles et les oiseaux. Il est passionné de nature, c'est très agréable. Très bon petit déjeuner et copieux avec les fruits locaux notamment. Le pain et le jus sont faits maison et sont delicieux. Le départ du rafting de green rivers se fait directement du B&B, super expérience ! Le B&B se situe a 10-15 minutes à pied de la gare des bus de Sarapiqui, ville qui manque d'intérêt mais pleins d'activites a faire dans la vallée si vous êtes véhiculés.

We met with Alex and had the pleasure to talk to him and learned more about the area. Alex is incredible and was extremely generous with his knowledge. He told us about the local history and about his journey saving the Macaws and building up his small rainforest over 30 years. He is person with a huge heart and we felt right at home. Visit this beautiful airb&b for Alex alone. We loved morning breakfast with him the best fruit! He even showed us around the grounds to spot the red eye tree frogs. It was dream to be here and learn about the community. We can not wait to visit Alex and his family again. Very blessed to have had this experience. This is what airb&b is all about. Meeting locals and their families and to integrate yourself into the community. We are both artists working on a documentary film about Banana agriculture in the area and feel so lucky that we met Alex and his family. I highly recommend if not one night at least three to really enjoy the area!
