The only downsides were the amount of wasps around the cooking areas and pool. Understandable for the time of the year, but they were quite the nuisance during the day. :)

Positives: The views are AMAZING and the house is HUGE. Lots of space to relax, both indoor and on the outdoor deck. House had all the amenities you could need. Negatives: The decor is a little dated and could use some modernization. The hall bathroom toilet was dirty. The hall bath tub had issues w/ the drain, and the tub fixtures appeared to be coming off the wall. One of the sinks in the master bath did not drain well. The drive up the mountain is VERY steep, with a single lane road that is not well-lit with reflectors, etc. There are steep drop offs. We arrived after dark and it was quite difficult making our way up to the house. Suggest arriving during daylight hours. The outdoor path lighting and many of the outdoor lights did not work, which made arriving at night very difficult since it was pitch black. The outdoor decking is very old and many in our group got splinters while grabbing the railing. Would not walk around barefoot. Overall our group loved it!

This is a very special property. It's an amazing setting with stunning, almost-360-degree views of Sonoma, great outdoor space, a spacious interior and a very good pool / grill setup. The house is very secluded and the treacherous drive to get there is well worth it. Everyone in our group was very pleased with the house and enjoyed our time there thoroughly.

Simply stunning, this house will leave you speechless, this simply might be the single best view of the whole Sonoma valley, the house is incredible, it was private, but felt secure, a real gem!
