A stay that will always be very special to us. The Narayan family was incredibly warm and accommodating. Thank you Megh, Reena, Puja, Ginu and even little Gunjan :) and of course Simone who was very prompt and helpful with our queries! The absolute highlight of our stay was that we were invited to spend Diwali with the family and enjoyed a lovely nearby trek to their ancestral village where we took part in the traditional festivities. The experience was one of a kind and truly unforgettable. The cottages at the site are very cozy and we absolutely loved the old school fireplaces. Food was delicious and homely - simple, local and hearty fare, exactly what you’d want to eat after a long day of trekking. The place is centrally located in Jibhi, not too far yet not too close to the populated market. It’s a great base from which to explore trekking routes, go sightseeing and try out cafes around the area. The only small inconvenience is water takes quite a while to heat if you want to bathe and I think the creeper plants all over the house in the photo might be a seasonal feature because the house front was bare when we went. Not a big issue, the views from the cottage are still spectacular. All in all it was an incredible stay and we look forward to visiting once again next year!

A cozy place hidden away from sight. Offers great views and a birding experience from the balcony itself. Narayan Ji and his family are a delight. Extremely polite and hospitable people. It's an ideal place for those craving some quiet laid back time appreciating nature with no fuss and hurry. Yes, it's a 10-minute foot descends to the cottage from the motorable road and a further 15-minute walk to any of the nearest eating outlets. But Reena (Narayan's daughter) will kindly serve you home-cooked food with a smile on an hour notice. Jibhi is a quaint village and that's the charm of that place. It has frequent power outages which only facilitates ditching your gadgets to a corner and appreciate the moonlight in the pitch-black darkness of the night with the burble of the Tirthan river in the background. To conclude, it is a modest place of stay with comfortable living as per village standards.

It was a pleasant experience. Mr. Narayan and his family who live on the premises are extremely sweet and helpful. They cooked a local dish (Siddu) just for us which was yummy! The room does not have a view but the common area has a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. We spent most of our time chilling there.

The homestay was filled with life from the family that takes care of the property. The space is very beautiful with great views and peaceful surroundings. Would love to come back again.

There are just a very few times one can call a place, pitch perfect. Narayan cottages is that one place. Just about everything is so amazing Bout this place. First the location itself is par excellence and then the hospitality by Narayanji and his wife and son. One literally starts feeling at home. They are such wonderful people that it is just impossible to not like this place. I highly highly highly recommend you stay here for a few days, it will just give you the calm, peace and care that you are looking for when you travel. I have literally traveled many places in the world, and this one is totally in my top 5 places. Thank you Narayanji and family. and thank you Simone for all the assistance.
