Fantastic stay in the annexe. Location was brilliant, so nice to have the sea views and be so near the coast path that you don’t really need to use the car once you’re there as port Isaac and polzeath are a pleasant walk away. Lovely area to walk and run around, super cosy living space and a good host. Check in was easy and it’s nice to have the hosts next door if you need them, but they otherwise leave you too it which was perfect for us! We will be returning, don’t hesitate to book this one!

My partner and I absolutely adored Sam's place! It was very peaceful and cozy, and ideally located. The barn has a full kitchen with pans and crockery, a luxurious soft bed, sea views from the bedroom, a private patio, and a very large living room area. With just a 15-minute walk to Port Quin, a beautiful cliff walk to Port Issac, or a short drive to Polzeath or Rock, it was all we could have asked for during our four-night stay over the Easter holiday. Sam's local recommendations were also great. We would definitely recommend the Port William pub for a drink or meal with an outstanding view! This is a wondeful gem we hope to come back to before it is all booked out as we sure it will be!

We stayed for 3 nights and wished we'd booked for longer. The Annexe is perfect for a quiet getaway and a great base for exploring this part of Cornwall. Despite the changeable weather we managed to enjoy a fair bit of walking locally (across the boggy fields to Port Isaac and the coastal path from Port Isaac to Port Quinn) and further afield as well. Sam was a very friendly host and took time to explain the walking routes from the farmhouse. The Annexe was clean, tidy, well equipped and perfectly sized for two people. We would definitely recommend The Annexe and we will look to come again.
