Erika’s place is the perfect stay for our time in Varenna. We had an arguably better view than the 4* hotel next door and much larger patio overlooking the lake. She was responsive and let us stay past checkout as our train didn’t leave till the afternoon. Wonderful place and great host!

Beautiful home in Varenna. Just one hour-ish regional train ride from Milan to Varenna. From Varenna you have frequent ferry rides to Bellagio and Mennagio. Erika's has a beautiful balcony view of the water and in the middle of Varenna. Erika herself was a wonderful host and was responsive. You even get free breakfast across the square, which consists of a croissant (plain, pistachio, apricot or whatever flavor they have available that day) and a drink (cappuccino, coffee, tea). It was lovely sitting outside the little bistro while having our breakfast. Bathroom was immaculate and private/connected to your private room. (not sure why Airbnb lists it as shared) Just wish we had more time to chill and soak in the beautiful Lake Como region!

This is exactly what we needed at the end of our 2week trip through Italy. The views were amazing! The bed was so comfortable! We both slept sooo well. The atmosphere so relaxing. Already trying to figure out when we can return and spend more time here. And …❤️❤️❤️Kitty!
