Had a great stay at the lake house cottage. The sizes of the three bedrooms are quite different, so take note when you go with a group. One of the airconditioners was not working, but maintenance was fixed quite quickly to fix it. There is staff to help out in the kitchen and you will share the garden with some friendly monkeys in the morning.

The property is just awesome, by far the quietest one we've been in the south of Sri Lanka. The lake view in the morning when waking up is everything you could ask for during a holiday. The sunsets are also astonishing. Staff in the villa is warm and always kind to help you with everything.
It would be difficult to overstate the many amazing features of this home. It has a stunning lakefront location, a beautiful and thoughtful design, and outstanding staff. We had some of the best meals of our time in Sri Lanka at Sonali's home, where her cook provided outstanding meals on every day of our visit. We truly felt like personal guests in the home of a kind and generous host. You will be disappointed to leave this paradise and eager to return - we certainly are.
