Great location. Great host. great spot. it's the perfect spot for anyone that enjoys the solitude and natural beauty of downeast Maine with in short driving distance of necessities. I stayed twice. first time in a rustic cottage. no electricity or running water but within short distance of a well stocked kitchen and bathroom with an abundance of hot water. The second time the interior of the two bedroom cottage was very well maintained and stocked. Full service kitchen with ample hot water and near new gas stove, microwave, and coffee maker stocked with Ross own coffee blend made by the Carabassett Coffee company. Cellphone service was not an issue and there was no need for the provided space heaters even at 32 degrees and windy. ive found my new home away from home

Sunset-Cove Cabin is a lovely rustic place to stay. The view from the deck is awesome! The lack of electricity in the cabin is not a problem if you come prepared for it. The grounds are beautiful.

We had a fun and relaxing time at Rossport. The views are gorgeous, and the property has some great history. I’d recommend taking some time to get know Ross, he is a very sweet and interesting fellow.

Rossport was 'magical by nature' as the phrase appears throughout the property! I can't say enough about the property itself and what a wonderful time we had relaxing, getting out on the bay (we brought paddleboards + kayaks), hiking nearby trails and having firepits every night. The Pirates cabin was cozy, rustic and stylish, with plenty of candles to light at night for the dreamy 'no electricity' feel. All the amenities were within a minutes walk and Ross was great at being available but leaving us be to explore. Not for someone who needs the luxury of a hotel, definitely a time to unplug, get into nature and just enjoy. Go!
