Beautiful spot on a gorgeous island. Tiny cute little place right on the water, just as advertised. Property is great for walks and poking about in the tidal zone. Good clamming and the host has equipment to borrow. Suggest bringing bikes and kayaks. It a lovely ride down into Eastport to see the artists shops.

Read the listing carefully, there is no electricity or wifi in the cabins. The shower looks like it'll give you an infection and I wouldn't trust any food to stay good in the fridge. Honestly, you're just paying for a pine-box with a bed, NOT worth the money

Rossport was awesome. We spent three days there, thinking Eastport was our destination. It turned out Rossport was the destination for us and we only spent an hour or two in Eastport itself. It is going to be a highlight of our time voyaging around Maine and we will be back. I prefer not to disclose which cabin we stayed in because I want to have it less booked when we can swing another down east trip. Ross was interesting to talk to with some great stories, and we met several quite interesting people. We did a long low tide beach hike with a return on the Rossport hiking trails; great time. The place is a work of art. Funky, eclectic, occasionally appearing gimmicky at first glance but always nicely done with a sense of humor on top of a great sense of honor of Mother Nature as a fundamental theme. We are now at the next AirBnB we planned, a cottage, and wish we had planned a full week at Rossport rather than the disappointing place we are at tonight. No question we will be back at Rossport one day for a longer stay in the next couple years.

This is a great place to stay and as close as you can come to an all outdoor experience, while still having a dry little wooden cabin for the night. Note that the cabin comes without electricity and the facilities are 20 m up the hill. I especially liked the private fireplace in front of the cabin with bayside view, a large piece of land at your exploration, and a great host with a couple of local tips! Will definitly come back.
