I am not one to write many reviews but Alec's place deserves all the praise. Alec the host has everything well thought out and tons of recommendations and instructions. Plenty of amenities plus some more. He was very responsive, in fact he reached out before and during our stay. Amazing Host. When you stay here you feel like you are at home. House has a great feel to it, beautiful neighborhood and surroundings, yet close enough to town. If you are visiting Pagosa Springs you will not regret staying at Alec's place.

My wife and two young daughters live in Austin, Texas. My Mother purchased this lot in 1977 on a whim while living in Houston, Texas. She never had the chance to pursue her dream to build here so in 2014 we did it for her. I think she would approve. We love to be active and the San Juan National Forest challenges us to be as active as we want. For us, this area is perfect because it is cool, open, mountainous, and peaceful. Then you have Pagosa Springs- a town that offers a great vibe for escaping one's busy routine. My father taught me many lessons, maybe the best one is how he lived his own life with this expression always at his side - "que sera sera". Hopefully this place embraces that spirit. We are flexible so ask if you have any questions about our policies. Airbnb says to list 5 things I can't live without, so I guess I'd say air, water, spices, leisure, and .... Humor. I try to laugh often. We try to help you with this reservation with a guide book of info and being in touch throughout the process.
