Had a wonderful stay at Vonette’s. It was a lovely walking distance to my favourite part of town (Bardstown Road). The house was peaceful and cosy with residents I met being super friendly. Special mention to Leo who greeted me most days when I got home and would often wander into my room to say hello. Host was very communicative and flexible with my late check in and late flight out of town. Would be the first property I look up when coming back into town.

This place is great. Vonnette and Jana are both great hosts, they are very accommodating during the whole stay. The place itself feels homey and you can see there’s a lot of history tied to it. The neighborhood is quiet nice and close to a lot of local food spots nearby. I would recommend anyone looking for a place to stay. I had a great experience during my stay

I was picked up at the airport (after midnight) by her son and that was great for me and a very kind thing to do. The house was just as I imagine, big and cozy and so much history behind. Close to bus lines and restaurants and a grocery store that is not so far away. Great neighborhood that feels safe. Vonnette is very kind and easy to have a conversation with. The other people that is living here is also good people and very helpful. A real pleasent stay for my vacation. Thank you!

Vonnette’s home is a charming Civil War era mansion in a great Louisville neighborhood. Tony shops, churches and restaurants within walking distance. Book it! You will not be disappointed. I am going back there later this year.
