We had a great stay. Peter and Hero are fantastic hosts and nothing was too much to ask. We had the family stay up there for a wedding and had a fantastic weekend. Rooms were clean and accomodating. Thanks to you both, we'll be back, certainly to the cellar door soon!

I don’t usually write a bad review, but I feel that people should know that what you see here, is not what you get. Beware. We understood from the description on AirBnB that we were going to get / could expect the following, but this was not the case: Access to the ‘whole Manor’ - this is not the case as half of the downstairs was closed off. Some of the suites have a full kitchen - none of the suites have a full kitchen, we had no accessed to a stove top or oven. Coffee machines - none of the suites had coffee machines in them, we were supplied with one plunger, for 11 guests. Continental breakfast - there was no continental breakfast. Chocolate, fresh flowers, glass of bubbly on arrival - there were no chocolates, fresh flowers all glass of bubbly on arrival. To top it off the Balcony was under repair / rotting away and not usable. And the bath in the main bathroom had no taps or spout - I could go on. Note – Peter has since updated the description of the property on AirBnB… Generally the property and gardens felt let go and tired. It was in a state of disrepair and was a complete disappointment. It also needed a serious clean. The property was the most expensive on Airbnb when we were looking and we expected a certain (high) standard that the property and Peter failed to meet on numerous fronts. Hopefully you read this review and avoid the disappointment that my family, cousins, and grandparents had to suffer.
