The apartment is well-suited to 2 or 3 people & located in the very popular resort of Trou aux Biches. It is clean, light and airy, quiet and safe. The apartment building is self-contained in it's own walled garden & near to all amenities. Spotlessly clean, spacious, one-bedroom apartments on first floor. Wifi is available, free of charge in all apartments. Air conditioning is also available for a supplementary fee of 3 euros per night. We have proper showers with a decent flow of hot water. Facilities include modern flat-screen TV, DVD, local cable TV - all included in price. Cooking facilities consist of a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas ring with assorted pans and dishes. Situated in a tranquil residential area, only 200m from a beach which is ideal for snorkelling, The public beach of Trou aux Biches is only 500m away and is perfect for swimming and water sports. Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy reach and the main bus route to Port Louis and Grand Baie is two minutes away on foot. We can either arrange hire cars/ bicycles/ scooters for you (no commission charged by us) or else we can put you in touch with the hire companies and you can do it yourself. We appeal especially to couples of all ages who are looking for a clean and comfortable place to rest their heads after a day out exploring the area. They can be assured that they will be able to relax and re-charge their batteries ready for the next day's events. That said, we also welcome a lot of single people on business trips.

Logement bien placé que ce soit au niveau de la plage, restaurants et supermarché. Les +: Ventilateur de plafond dans les deux chambres du flat 2, ménage fait chaque jour par une femme, draps et serviettes de douche changés régulièrement, lessive contre paiement de 100 Roupies, la terrasse, le calme. Les - Rideaux des chambres pas assez opaques (ils laissent passer la lumière du jour trop tôt (réveillés chaque jour à 6h du matin), un seul gaz pour cuisiner, meuble de cuisine trop haut (limite dangereux pour cuisiner) des casseroles qui basculent sur les grilles du gaz car pas adaptées au gaz.

Khadimah was an amazing Airbnb host, any questions or concerns I had she replied to me promptly and was always willing to help with any information that I needed to enjoy my stay! This was my first time staying in an Airbnb so I was a bit apprehensive however, the apartment felt like home and was very secure which made me feel very safe. Had a spacious lounge and bedroom area and kitchen/bathroom was clean and had everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable. The price was very good with the quality of the apartment and Khadimah was always at the end of the phone to offer the best price for day trips and car rentals! I would definitely recommend to other travellers and friends. Thank you x

This was a goos Airbnb, as described by other guests. It is in a quiet part of Trou aux Biches but close to everywhere. The outside space is scenic and relaxing.

This is a perfect, very clean and very reasonably priced place if you don’t mind walking a few minutes to the beach, grocery store and local restaurants. Buses and taxis abound and made it very easy for us to enjoy day trips to the beautiful SSR Botanical Gardens, Sugar Factory/Museum, Aquarium and Grand Bay for shopping. Mrs. Khadimah was very helpful in arranging a Catamaran boat excursion to Isle de Cerfs and was very quick in responding to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. The flat is simple and basic, but the easy accessibility to everything this part of the island has to explore made it perfect for us. For the price and location you won’t be disappointed.

There is a well-stocked supermarket walking distance from our house along with pharmacy, restaurants serving both local food and international cuisines.
There are also plenty of little cabanes and kiosks selling local food. We feel safe walking around and have fantastic views of the Indian Ocean when en route from our house to the shops.

There are regular buses from the nearby coastal road to Grand Baie and Port Louis and beyond.
Also, we can arrange any one of bicycles, scooters or hire car for you. Alternatively, we are on hand to order taxis for you at a reasonable price.

Hello! My name is Khadimah and currently, as well as being the new owner of the apartments (since last October) I own and manage four wholesale garment shops in the capital city of Port Louis. I was new to this type of work, and so have had a lot of help from Dawn the previous owner and from Fezal who was very involved with the apartments before too. They have been very kind and brought my husband, Mamade, and I up to speed asap. Our main aim is that anyone who stayed at the apartments in the past will have an even better experience next time. We are really enthusiastic and want to do a perfect job. We thrive on being busy. Buying for the clothes shops takes me to countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia three of four times per year. I like traveling and meeting people and so I enjoy that aspect of my work. A bonus is that it also helps me understand the needs of our own guests at the apartments. We try very hard to put them at their ease and make them feel at home with us. It seems to be working so far as we have received some very touching cards and promises from guests that they will definitely be returning to Anba's again in the future. Even by myself I like to think I have a good idea of what Europeans are used to as I spent a lot of time living in London, UK when I accompanied my daughter for her studies in 2003. I stayed with her' on and off' for the next four years. To keep myself occupied I worked as a receptionist in the local medical surgery. When I came back to Mauritius I took over the shops again. Many years ago, I also had a pharmacy and imported medical equipment. Regarding entertainment, I like traveling for fun, reading books, watching movies, listening to music and above all, eating good food! Then, if I had to sum up myself on one sentence I would say "I am a kind, helpful and jovial person who is lucky to be in good health and ready to help anyone who is in need."
