Great spot! We were in town for the Eugene marathon and this house was a great home away from home for the weekend. The mosaics are beautiful and Brian and Elizabeth were communicative and flexible hosts. Also, the well stocked kitchen made it easy to host a pre-race pizza dinner.

Both Brian and Elizabeth were great in communicating with me. I ended up having to cut my stay short due to an unexpected ice storm ravaging the area and causing a loss of power in the home for an extended period. They worked with me to come to a settlement since the weather was completely out of everyone's control. I appreciated their kindness and understanding. The home is comfortable and has the amenities listed so it easy to settle in, especially for a long stay. I appreciated how easy it was to find the home and to check in. The train tracks are not so close to the home that I was disturbed by the noise of the trains. I was easily able to sleep through the sounds. Additionally since the upstairs apartment doesn't have any adjoining walls or ceiling with the space, you won't hear the resident there either. So it is a quiet space if you need to work or rest.

This has to be the best house we have stayed at. The outside has a nice appearance but it does not even come close to the awesome interior you get to experience during your stay. So much detail and time was spent to make this a truly unique place to stay. Each room in the house has it own character. The openness and set up of the kitchen was a sight to see from unique dishes to pots/pans and the overhead lights. The openness of each bedroom to the entire house was a nice feature and had curtains in place of doors if you wanted some privacy but we did not use during our stay. The barn door for the bathroom was a nice touch and not to mention the tile work in the shower..OMG, a must see. Even though we had some minor mishaps during our stay it did make us rethink why we chose this place. The homeowners were very very responsive and attentive to our minor issues. We will be returning the house if it is available for our next visit to see our son who is attending UofO. GREAT HOUSE!

Difficult to describe with words or photos, this space is a piece of art. The time and dedication it took to complete the mosaics throughout the home is impressive. Must see to believe. Kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary cooking needs. Loved the dining table in the center of the kitchen, as it gave it a true family kitchen feel. Bedrooms are open, as described, but larger than the photos of the listings show. The beds were comfortable and provided good nights of sleep. Bathroom has stunning mosaics and is a nice size. Towels were fresh and warm as the towel rack is above the baseboard heater, which was a nice surprise. Did notice the train, as others had mentioned. It came through around 3:00 AM and there is a crossing a few blocks away, so they do blow their horns. Out outside of that, it is a peaceful setting with a nice natural setting out back. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. Thank you.
