A beautiful house with impressive views and friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.
We totally enjoyed our stay as week 2 of a destination wedding vacation progressed. After a week in a caravan, we were ready for a nice, quiet home. This place was even larger than we imagined. The quiet streets and beautiful view out the back were perfect for a break from going into the city. Easy access to 2 main buslines that got us around most of the time. Capital taxi was easy to use and took us from there to the airport and all the way out to the castle for the wedding. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating in figuring out timing (caravan had to be dropped off by 10am and normal check-in was 4pm) and what to do with sheets/towels, etc. for check-out. If we are ever in Edinburgh again (this time, for only vacation), would definitely try to book this site again. 11 out of 10.
The place is amazing and the hosts are very friendly and easy-going, loved spending our family holidays here and wish to be back.

We are a family living in Edinburgh but with family in the Highlands and Islands where we often go away to for holidays. We have 2 boys and a yellow labrador called Charlie. We love sailing and we were hugely attracted to our house with views over the Forth and Granton Harbour. We enjoy walks along the foreshore (in front of our house) with our dog and also at the local Inverleith Park and Cramond. At the weekend we love visiting the local fish shop 'Welch's' - we love seafood and enjoy it on a Saturday night with friends. We love Edinburgh and it's diversity - we are very close to town and with a bus terminal just around the corner. We love eating out and have excellent restaurants locally and in town. There are also excellent art galleries and museums which are great for wetter days.
