While overall we enjoyed our stay, there were a few features that were quite unusual and worth mentioning to others. - No cancellation refund, and the payment was required in full. - We had to specify the number of guests - no big deal, but I found it odd that I had to send an official request (that had to be validated by the host, whatever that means) to add another person to the booking. However the main thing that was became clear on entering the house is that this is obviously Michelle's house (at least for part of the time), and the whole place was full of their stuff. The fridge, the shelves, the bathrooms all had their belongings with no explicit notice to us. Is the food in the fridge for eating or is it just taking up space? Were the two €5 notes left on the counter for us, or had they just been left behind? Shampoo? Makeup? Again, not a massive deal, but for the price (8 adults was £120 per person per night!!!) this is just way way too expensive.

Michelle's house was perfect for our 3 families to be able to stay together for a local wedding. I had great communication from Michelle making us feel welcome in her home. Do be careful when carrying your bags so not to knock over any of the fabulous ornaments 😉🫣

We stayed at Michelle's beautiful and quirky house the night before & after my wedding. There were 12 of us and we loved exploring the various staircases and finding our rooms. There was ample space for everyone! The conservatory has 2 dining tables so you can all eat comfortably together. We also used the conservatory to get ready for the wedding with the great light it provided. We had a photographer come and take some pics before we left and there were some really great photo spots too!! There is a toilet in the kitchen which is really useful for elderly family members because the stairs are too steep to use the rest of the house. Michelle was extremely easy to contact and very flexible & accommodating. Note that this is their permanent home so there are personal belongings in each room & in the fridge etc. Thanks Michelle! :)
