This place was so relaxing and am so completely honored to stay at this beautiful place. I look forward to staying again in September and enjoyed every moment we had on the potomac river. The hosts, the cleaning people were spot on and so caring. You could not ask for better hosts! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

Matt was an excellent host. The rental was clean, which is the most important factor for our family, and we appreciated it being dog-friendly. Pros: Peaceful, beautiful sunset, not too far away from civilization in case you need to grab supplies or food. Cons: The wooden swingset had splinters and we had to pull them out of our kids more than once. It definitely requires some upkeep. We couldn’t use the kayaks because they had to be launched off the dock and there wasn’t a safe way to do so. Might be possible for teens and adventurous adults :-) For a more comfortable and enjoyable stay, I would take some zip lock bags or containers for storing leftovers, scissors, napkins, tweezers, my own fishing rod and a crab trap. I would highly advise taking bottled waters, as the well water has a strong metallic smell, mostly likely from high iron content. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Matt & Jen’s place! The scenery was beautiful as you looked out on the Potomac. The place was pet friendly & the pups really liked the yard space. We loved that it was fenced in & they were able to roam freely within that area. The screened in back patio was great to sit & read while we watched the sunset. The hosts were very responsive & the place was overall clean & really nice. We look forward to coming back!
