We stayed at this Edinburgh apartment for 2 months. It is located next to the Scottish Parliament building. With a great view everyday of Arthur’s Seat. This location is easy to get to and Nick gave great instructions for getting the keys for access to the unit. Any request we had and there was very few were responded to promptly by Nick. It was a short walk to see the historical sites in the city, Waverley Station for trains, several bus stops and great restaurants. I would use Nick’s services again when in Scotland and would recommend him to others.

Well furnished and very clean apartment. A small problem with one of the showers was put right very quickly. A short walk to restaurants and amenities. We felt very safe and the area was very quiet at night.

This is a modern and well-equipped serviced (weekly) apartment with good beds and furniture, excellent kitchen and with a great location (at the end of the Royal Mile, next-door to Scottish Parliament and Palace of Holyroodhouse). We enjoyed walking several miles a day so didn't much mind that there's limited bus connection between Old Town and New Town (although that's not an apartment issue!). A short walk, less than a block, to Canongate, part of the Royal Mile, offers a wide choice of restaurants; two blocks away the other way is a quite useful Tesco Express. We had a couple of problems with equipment (at first shower temperature varied up and down while showering, and the built-in freezer didn't work.) Nick responded very quickly to our messages, had technicians onsite the next day, and resolved the problems. All in all, not the cheapest place in Edinburgh, but one that called for no compromises!

Good Location BUT the ‘apartment’ photos posted in Airbnb listing Ad did not reflect the random apartment that we got. Once we arrived and realized that it was a different apartment, then Host explained to us that these photos are of various flats that the company has for rent, not just one, something that it wasn’t mentioned in the Host Airbnb listing ad. Also, the cleaning service wasn’t properly done, windows were not closing properly, washing machine’s door was damaged and heating in living area wasn’t working. Host was contacted again and we received immediate response to amend these problems. A bit of refund was sent to us as a way of apology. It probably would have been nice if the apartment windows were clean, painting peeling in the corner kitchen/living area fixed and humidity in the window/wall area of the main bedroom area painted. But at the end of the day, the apartment itself has all what you need if you’re looking just for a roof and go out for fun and tourism.

Only 1 roll of tp for 2 baths at checkin. No clear instructions on washer dryer. Not clear where to leave the key when checing out. All sorted in the end. A very comfortable apartment but not as nice as the one shown and described.
