Joao's place is very comfortable and beautiful with impressive artistic touches. It became our home away from home for 7 weeks. Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean across the street. Furniture was very comfortable. Amenities galore! We made a lot of use of the clothes washer. Lots of restaurants within walkable distance. Also grocery, clothing, hair dresser, etc. 7 minute walk to the train station with additional 29 minutes on train to get to Lisbon proper. After that, a great metro subway with lots of stations to get to anywhere in Lisbon. Joao's guidebook is worth its weight in gold on describing local restaurants, beaches, etc. Joao was very responsive and accommodating. This was our best BNB stay ever.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans l'appartement de João. C'est un appartement parfait si vous venez avec vos enfants, il y a en effet une très jolie chambre pour enfant avec 2 lits simples, et une chambre parentale avec sdb attenante. L'appartement est propre, design, de bon goût, très bien équipé, avec cuisine fonctionnelle, machine à laver le linge et la vaisselle, etc. Le condo est calme, il ya une jolie piscine (malheureusement il faisait trop froid pour nous), et la plage de carcavelos est à 4mn en voiture seulement. Nous avons apprécié la réactivité de l'hôte pour répondre à nos demandes et régler les problèmes que nous avons eu pendant notre séjour.

A fantastic week in a beautiful apartment. Joao was an excellent and responsive host, even picking us up at the airport and driving us to the apartment. The apartment was pristine clean and there was very helpful folders of local shops, restaurants and amenities. There is a very nice location to sunbathe and a pool in the gardens of the complex. There are two beautiful beaches within walking distance, which are ideal for sunbathing, running or swimming. It is also possible to take surfing lessons. All in all, a wonderful week in a great location and a super host
