Everything was so warm and welcoming! Amylyn and Jonas were very sweet and accommodating. We can't wait to come back next summer!!
My friends and I had the most amazing time at Amylyn and Jonas’s farm. They are kind, welcoming, and very responsive to any and all questions. We are already planning our trip back!
Restful weekend in a charming cottage in the woods. The cottage is close to many attractions, the coast, charming towns and restaurants, and at the same time you feel transported into a world where time slows down on this delightful hobby farm. The cottage is lovingly restored striking a balance between having all modern conveniences but keeping the original features and charm. Gracious and kind hosts, yoga classes in the restored barn, the most comfortable bed, cedar hot tub and great local recommendations! Stay here if you are so lucky to have this place available for your dates!
so amazing and peaceful !! had a couple adorable visits from their sweet cat Bean! It was the perfect combination of serene weekend and then a short trip to Portsmouth was perfect for shopping and snacking!! Will be back!
We were impressed with the rustic country decor in a lovely apartment that was comfortable and beautifully appointed with wonderful eclectic art and furniture. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you might need. The dozen farm fresh eggs provided by Jonas and Amylyn’s 42 chickens were excellent. Bedroom bed was comfortable, bathroom spotless and updated. The grounds at Shiloh Farm with chickens out and about, 5 goats, 4 cats, and Shasta the guard dog, are special . Overall 5, star memorable short stay. We will be back next time we are in Maine.
Surrounded by a mature diversity of trees, the Shilo Farm neighborhood is private, lush and serene. We do have neighbors, but they are hidden through the trees. We are set back from the road, which provides a lovely sense of privacy.

I reconnect with a true place inside myself that invites me to express myself authentically with confidence and clarity.” Amylyn has almost 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, working with people of all ages and abilities, with her passion lies in connecting animals with humans and considers it the ultimate healing experience. She also holds a degree in Outdoor Education and has spent many years guiding youth and adult groups into the wilderness and facilitating ropes course adventures. She spends much of her time in the vegetable gardens, cultivating the herb gardens and continuing to grow their vision of a sustainable and self sufficient life-style. In the summer months she loves to explore the the salt marshes in her kayak, biking the winding sea roads and surrounding herself in the beauty of nature. Together Amylyn and Jonas love to bring people together in a creative and nurturing way. Their home has been a hub for monthly community fires. They envision growing Shilo Farm into a place where friends, family and strangers alike can gather and share in music, food, and meaningful conversation. Our vision is always growing and we hope you can come and visit and be a part of our creative process!!!!
