Our family enjoyed our stay at 'the farm! What a unique and fun experience! I'm so glad we booked this for a weekend getaway from the big city. The house was clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed... Including many board games for the kiddos! Our family enjoyed simply hanging out in the airbnb, instead of feeling like we had to get out and go to town. The most unique part was the host (Karl) giving us an (optional) personal, detailed tour of their permaculture farm! Very interesting to learn about this specific way of farming/growing etc. that uses all the aspects of the land and climate in the most useful ways. What a wonderful mix of experiencing and observing nature and animals in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Their dog Sage is a fluffy sweetheart! Bring some boots if you do want to go exploring outside the house area... It can get a little muddy! 😊
The place was great and the host was amazing. Cannot recommend enough! Will be booking again. The home was beautiful, with a subdued Native American vibe. The scenery was lovely, and the atmosphere was secluded and peaceful. Far enough out to be secluded, but close enough to town to make a run if you need to. The host was friendly and responsive. Really enjoyed talking to him.
Karl was welcoming and gave a fascinating tour of his farm. He did a great job of explaining Permaculture and showing how it can work in action.
We were greeted by Sage, very friendly dog. The check in process was easy, place was very comfortable and exactly as described. My family and I enjoyed the stay! Appreciated the coffee as well, thanks Karl.
Karl is a wonderful host! We stayed one night for a girls night and may have been a little loud at times playing games. The house is very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it rained so we were not able to tour the farm but you are able to see some of the animals from the house. No outside noise can be heard in the house though! Thanks Karl for a great girls night! We will be back!

Together Kara and I manage our 20 acre Homestead which is home to horses, sheep, rabbits, chickens and our livestock guardian dog. Every year we are planting more trees in our orchards and expanding what we are producing on our land. We love hosting guests at our listings and are happy to show anyone what is "growing on" at the homestead. We love answering questions of any kind and are happy to share our knowledge of the area.
