The views from this home are stunning, with sunrises straight over the lake. The road in between the house and lake are not really an issue, at least not in winter, as the road is a bit lower than the backyard. The house was comfortable and the large round table lets parties of 10 people enjoy a dinner together. The hot tub is perfectly located, but when we were there, could have benefitted from a water change and consistent chlorination. Water was green and smelly and the jets not working. Temperature was great though. The communication could improve by being more customized to this particular Tahoe Getaways home; there is a clear lack of specificity compared to renting from an owner directly, despite getting long messages. Overall a place I'd come back to, while I'd want them to check on the hot tub first. At this price, there are no excuses for bad maintenance.
This house was lovely! The home is older as is the furniture, but it was comfortable and clean. The view was amazing! Sitting in the kitchen with my tea watching the sunrise or in the comfy chairs in the living room watching sunset with a glass of wine was spectacular! The photos do not do it justice. Also, my kids apricated that they had Lincoln Logs and children's books to keep them busy when they weren't enjoying the huge fenced in back yard. We would happily stay here again.
