Very accommodating, and what a unique and incredible place to stay! So much detail. The heated blanket goes a long way too! Be very careful reading the instructions on the description. My phone did take us to another farm, however my partner’s phone took us to the right place. I’m not sure if that was to do with Apple / google maps. Thank you for a great experience 😊

Alex, Sarah and their family were so welcoming (by strange coincidence they used to live in the same area of London as me and we have a mutual friend!). Alex was so kind to come up to the boatel and light the log burner for me on the Friday night and we had a lovely chat. Everything was perfect, from the stunning views of the Welsh hills to the sheep, lambs, skylarks and buzzards as neighbours to the little radio, candles, interesting books and cosy sleeping arrangements in the adjacent boat. I was so tempted to stay another night but had a long drive home. Definitely would love to return for a longer summer stay.

Alex and his wife were so kind to me. With travel problems, my arrival times changed, but they worked with me to find a way to pick me up. They showed me around a different town where we met up. The boatel itself was very cute. The part with the bed was toasty with the electric heater and electric blanket. Tall people, beware, as it’s a little short. The stars at night were gorgeous! The most stars I’ve ever seen before and shooting stars! I made sure to be up for sunrise and it was amazing!! It was a great place to relax and recoup. The boatel is at the top of a little hill so be careful after it rains. It can be muddy in the area.
