Jane is the most wonderful host we have ever come across, her place was a home away from home. We were greeted with friendly and generous hospitality and she took care of us throughout our stay. So many lovely touches in the most beautiful of settings, Jane and her home are absolute gems!
Geweldige host. Bedankt voor je aanwezigheid. Lieve ontvangst en behulpzaamheid. We hebben genoten en je bent enorm attend. Afscheid en aankomst waren hartverwarmend. Bij aankomst hebben we een heerlijke maaltijd gekregen en bij afscheid nog een kop koffie en gekletst met de host en super gastvrij in haar appartement nog een kopje koffie gedronken op het terras. Erg behulpzaam. Uitzicht is mooi en heerlijk rustig gelegen tussen de bergen
This is my second time staying at Jane's home in Pelago and it was excellent as always. The place is perfectly situated in the countryside for a quiet holiday while still being within 30 minutes drive to Florence city center. There are also plenty of very good restaurants, wineries and more within a close drive. During the summer months, Jane lives in the home upstairs and is more than happy to give advice on the area and help out as needed. Check in is quick/easy and Jane is a very responsive and caring host. There is plenty of room for a family or even two couples to share. And the garden area with a pizza oven is a nice touch. I look forward to returning again next year.
Jane was rally a super host. She gave us a lovely wellcome and supported us very much in all our activities. We felt very comfortable in their beautiful house and the great location. We are looking forward to the next time. We will come back.
Tuscany home located just outside of Florence. Jane was an amazing host. She treated my family with a Pasta dinner upon our arrival that my family devoured. She provided a tremendous amount of local tips and advice, all of which where spot on. She knows the area extremely well and had a quick and accurate response for every one of my questions. Jane's advice on where to park in the city made getting in and out of the city a breeze. We absolutely loved our stay here and intend to come back to Jane's home again in the future. 5 STARS!

I came for a year and stayed for a lifetime. My first night in Florence, I spent it under the stars in the campground overlooking the magnificent birthplace of the Renaissance. Several years of college studies later I came back with the plan to spend a year specializing in the Renaissance. That year turned into a lifetime and many many friends and family members have come to stay with us in our flat in downtown Florence or our country place in the Chianti Ruffino area. Come join us.
