The place was as advertised, and a bit more, with not just the room but the rest of the place decorated tastefully in local themes. The hosts were friendly and interesting to talk to. We talked over a wide variety of topics and got great tips on what else to see in Newfoundland. I was looking forward to seeing something inland, not just on the coasts, and the lake that the place is on is picturesque, clean and nice for a swim in cool water, probably around 20 C / 70 F or just a bit cooler in late August. Graham even came out to the highway to guide us in a little faster when we showed up after dark, because it’s a bit off the main road. Good breakfast, too. I will stay here again if I get out this way again.

Absolutely beautiful house with stunning views of the clear tranquil lake. The place was a bit difficult to find, but the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and Graham is a very friendly, hospitable host.

Great cottage like area right off the TCH. You can expect your morning meal with a coffee inside or on the deck. Graham and Susan had lots of insight on local things to do.
