We will definitely be returning to La Loma. A wonderful holiday that ticked all our boxes. We met Shaun at check-in and he was extremely pleasant, very helpful and helped with recommendations to local restaurants and was always easily contactable. The interior of the Villa itself it’s quiet dated and rustic so may not be to everyone’s taste but it was clean and tidy and there was everything we needed; from hairdryer, iron, clothes horse, beach towels, and even some board games which we all enjoyed. The absolute winning feature of this villa though is the location; the salt water pool is located at the back of the villa with the most stunning backdrop of olive groves. We were able to completely disconnect from reality for 10 days. The nearest village is a short 10 min drive and the larger town of Antequera only 30 min drive. We will definitely be returning-thank you for a wonderful stay.

We spent 10 beautiful days at La Loma. The house itself is in need of modernisation, the furniture is very basic, and old. So, if you're looking for a luxurious accommodation you might be disappointed, also, WiFi didn't work that great. However, this is what we loved about the house - its simplicity and lack of distractions. It just felt homely. La Loma sits in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by olive trees, and once you are there it does feel like there are no other people on Earth. The views are to die for, the swimming pool is amazing, and there is nothing more perfect than sitting by the pool with a glass of wine and a bowl of olives while watching the sun setting behind the mountains. The house is 7 mins drive from the nearest town - Villanueva de Algaidas, and you'll find everything you need there - supermarket Dia, and other smaller shops, bars and food. La Loma is in the perfect location for day trips. Amanda and Shaun were always there when we needed them.

A wonderful place to stay. Only an hour from Malaga airport but at times it feels like you’re the only people for miles around as you take a dip in the pool with views over the Andalusian hills. Very well positioned too, for day-trips to Cordoba, Granada and Sevilla. Checkin was quick and easy. All correspondence was dealt with almost immediately.

prachtig huis op een top locatie. airco in alle slaapkamers wat echt heerlijk is in de hete zomer maanden. wifi werkte vaker niet dan wel, maar dat hoeft niet perse erg te zijn. zwembad was heerlijk. erg vriendelijke host.
