This was actually the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. If you are into nature and the tranquility of the mother earth, then this is for you. The host was very accommodating and informative, which is a plus. I know where I'm staying when I go back to St. Thomas.

Many Airbnbs are great, but occasionally, you find something magical. If you want a place with a beach view close to the action, this is not your place. If you want an idyllic home in the jungle, surrounded by birds, frogs, and tropical flora, this is exactly your spot of heaven. Mark has created his own paradise that he loves to share with others. From the wrap around porch to the swinging bridge across the creek to the outdoor shower looking at the cute bananaquits, this place is amazing. And you will never find a more kind and generous host than Mark, who meets you on arrival with cheese and crackers and is available 24/7 to handle any issue you may have. Visiting the Virgin Islands was great, but if I ever need to go somewhere simply to get away from it all and decompress, this is at the top of my list.

We have visited St. Thomas many times but didn’t know a place like Mark’s existed. It is truly a hidden gem. It’s a true jungle setting with a wrap around porch from which to enjoy the constant sound of birds and exotic flora that surround the house. You will go to sleep to the sounds of birds and frogs chirping too, so if you want silence it’s not the place for you! The space is somewhat limiting for those with mobility issues.

A beautiful place to get away from it all. Kind of hard to find without gps but Mark’s directions were right on. We loved the birds and his own extensive botanical garden.

Mark's place was wonderful, private and very comfortable. While a lot of the homes and resorts sit on the hills out in the open, his place is private, secluded and in the forrest. There are many birds that Mark feeds, such as the bananaquit, hummingbirds, doves, pigeons and other birds. He has many plants around his wrap around porch and in the area surrounding his place. It is wonderful to hear the tree frogs at night. Mark responds very quickly to any inquiries. He even took us on a hike to a very secluded beach! Mark will give you instructions to follow to find his place. There are beaches close by and easy to get too. Mark is a great host. He is friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and knew he was close by if we needed anything. I would highly recommend Mark's place to anyone staying on St. Thomas.
