While the place isn't fancy, it is an actual houseboat after all, it was awesome. Comfortable bed but views to die for and you are literally having you morning coffee, watching the sunrise and are literally 1 foot from the water. The river is a very active one...we saw manatee, gators, gar and hundred of mullet jumping out of the water. the best was the shrimp boats at dusk...you really have to experience this place. and ps. walking distance to downtown Apalachicola is a real bonus

Karen is very quick to respond. Check in was super fast and easy. The management people introduced themselves the second day and let us know where they were if we need them. The fishing on the porch was amazing! It was all catfish but fun. Come prepared for lots of mosquitoes, my poor hubby got ate up with a citronella candle and bug spray. The boat house is just as we expected, a bit rustic especially compared to the houses around it, but well maintained and comfortable. Only downside is the lack of breakfast options in the area. They’re either closed or not very nice places. May want to cook instead! We would definitely consider coming back in the future. Thanks for a good trip!

We had a great weekend and loved the convenience of this location. Drinking coffee on the back porch every morning was also a great way to start the day

This was a great change of pace from the usual vacation. Being on the water everyday was just wonderful!
