Rosa was fabulous. We were able to text for advice regarding dinner reservations and she suggested fabulous places that were local and authentic. We had a wonderful time in Lake Como and this home made the experience very memorable. Thankyou Rosa for your kindness.
Amazing location with incredible views of lake como. It’s in the peaceful town of Faggeto lario, and has a great restaurant D lounge nearby. The home is huge, with incredible views with multiple balconies/terraces. The only difficult part is transportation to como can be tricky if you don’t have your own car. But we loved the peaceful home, and the location/views. Separately, Rosa is probably one of the best hosts we’ve had. Responsive, timely, flexible…she helped us get a taxi set up when we were having issues. She’s the gem of the property to be honest lol…book it, stay, enjoy, and Rosa will take care of you!
Rosa is an incredible host throughout the process. Post bookings, months ago, she reached out to provide local guidance on transportation, recommendation for restaurants, markets, etc. Our check in was outstanding with her waiting for our arrival and gave us a tour and showed us where everything was in the house. She also checked in during our stay, offered to pick up items from the market just because she happened to be at the store. OUTSTANDING HOST! The house has stunning views of Lake Como. As to be expected in an older European home, bathrooms are older in terms of size and water pressure. Nice size kitchen, in fact we made several meals together and even had a private chef for one of our nights there. Faggeto Lario is a very small town on the lake so ferry services are not as convenient but with a bit of planning ahead, we were able to visit various towns around the lake.
