If you’re considering staying in a unique place during your stay in Bergen, stay in Jan’s boat. 1) communication- Jan was great at communicating with us leading up to our stay even answering some of my questions about tourist things to book ahead of time. He communicated with us quickly as we arrived in Bergen and leading up to our arrival at the boat. 2) location- you cannot get a better location then here. You’re literally in the midst of the central area, near the fish market. You have hikes, fjord tours, grocery stores, restaurants, bars and shopping all within a 5 minute walk. That being said, at night it was quiet and we had a great sleep. 3) The boat itself- such a unique and great experience! It literally has everything, shower, toilet, stove, fridge, oven, two sinks, tv, Bluetooth indoor and outdoor speakers, inside living area, blankets, pillows, 2 sleeping cabins and outdoor deck with dining area. It was so clean when we got there, not a speck of dirt, windows were spotless, it was incredible. When we arrived Jan was waiting for us and showed us how to use everything in the boat and told us to use this as our home. We spent more time relaxing on the boat in Bergen then anything else. Jan also took us to the service Center and showed us where there were larger showers, toilets and washing/drying machines for our use. He gave us the code so we could use it any time. He also left us some snacks in the fridge. I would highly recommend this unique place to stay during your time in Bergen!

I’m not much of a boat goer, but this stay was amazing. A truly unique and great way to be in the heart of the city!

We aren’t boat people, but this listing looked too much fun to miss out on. It was a great choice! Captain Jan docked the boat in the perfect place and it was such a great base to explore Bergen from. It’s cosy on board, and the sheepskins & blankets were great for evenings - but it’s a marvel how there is space for two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and two seating/eating areas. A truly special place to stay!

Jan's sailboat was one of the highlights of our trip. Being able to park alongside the harbor in Bergen made for a great time getting into and out of our stay.

En helt suveren båt, med en like suveren beliggenhet. Perfekt for to voksne par. Gode senger, og ellers alt man trenger for et hyggelig opphold. En svært hyggelig vert å leie av, og både han og båten hans får våre varmeste anbefalinger.
