My daughter and I enjoyed a much needed timeout of the city in this beautiful place. The horses gave us sense of living what it's like to live in the moment. I learned from Karin that there is an Alpha Mare who is the leader of the pack. Karin is truly the Alpha Mare of her pack of horses, her dogs and in all of her life endeavors. After spending time with her I began to feel that we can all be the Alpha Mare within our very selves. I loved learning about Karin's amazing life, from Denmark, to Iran to the beautiful life she has made for herself, her sons and for others to enjoy at Danehill Manner. Oh, and we fell completely in love with their sweet dog, Riley. We loved taking walks with her on the immense property. Karin is also an incredible cook and made such delicious meals.

We had an incredible time at Karin's little world.. wonderful place to unwind and reset and commune with nature. One of the best experiences was waking up in the morning and walking down to eat a full breakfast together right next to the horses (literally inches away), while gazing out over the stunning lakes and hills of the area, nearly entirely untouched by humans. It seems like a place that can be whatever you want it to be -- the hosts adapt to more or less depending on what you want. We both learned a lot about leadership and body language from Karin. Natural horsemanship is highly recommended, very unique perspective + experience. Also got an ATV tour of the grounds, good food, lively conversation. And the place is meticulously well kept -- Karin's a perfectionist with a world-class sense of design. I also personally got immense value (close to the value of the trip for me) by doing breathwork with her son Mark-Christian. Total paradise, we expect to return!

Karin was a wonderful host and her property is absolutely incredible. Beautiful views, private and peaceful, in harmony with nature. Not only were our room and the common spaces inviting and relaxing, but I highly recommend the additional services. Our gourmet dinner on the property was incredible, and the horsemanship and somatic therapy sessions were also very unique and transformative. I cannot recommend Danehill enough - it is a singular, magical getaway well worth the price.

Let me start by sharing that I was - for several years - a host with Airbnb - and understand the travails of keeping a near perfect rating. It’s not easy. It takes total commitment, effort and a wonderful attitude. You must enjoy it, you must make certain you do what you say and say what you do. Airbnb is lucky to have Karin as one of their representatives. You need to experience her manor as well as her! We certainly did!!! Karin is an absolute joy to be around. To have someone like her make sure you’re taken care of, make sure everything is perfect for you is like Margaret Thatcher is your hostess! I seriously want to bring my daughters next time, as I truly believe she is the role model every female needs to experience! She’s an incredible human being. She’s intelligent, cultured, insightful, funny, hard working, caring, classy and beautiful! Oh, and her place is amazing, too! A must visit place!!! Thank you, Karin.

We spent an amazing 2 nights at Danehill Manor. I could not have asked for a more magical way to spend my birthday. My absolute favorite part was waking up to the herd of horses outside our window in the morning and sharing our breakfast time with them. Thank you Karin for being the loveliest host; we adored Karin and all her wisdom and stories. What a peaceful place. We left with our hearts full, rejuvenated.
