Dorotea is a fantastic host and the apartment is great, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, as it was our home for a month. There is a great bar just under the apartment called Big Star which serves nice beers and wine and stays open to 2:00am everyday which can be a benefit and curse.

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay at Dorotea's place. The place is beautiful (spacious, warm), the building is safe and lovely, the location is absolutely perfect (Trastevere is my favourite district of the city, and it is close to everything!), and Dorotea made sure everything was set up for my arrival and for my stay. I stayed in this apartment for over three months, so you know that my words are honest. Apartment: The apartment is very sweet; a newly updated bathroom and kitchen, with one bedroom and a living room with a pull-out couch if you have more people staying with you (comfortably 4 people could stay). It is very clean, and the new appliances and the updated interior make the space functional and comfortable. However, it still has the charm of a welcoming Roman apartment with the large shutter windows that open up to the street, and the door off of the courtyard. You live on the 2nd floor (USA 2nd Floor) and look out towards Piazza San Cosimato. There is a cafe/bar below the apartment, which does make noise in the night, but with the windows closed its hardly noticeable, and it is a great place to have a morning coffee or evening drink. The apartment is perfect - the building is beautiful - and if I come back to Rome I will certainly stay here again. It felt, very easily, like home. Location: I loved living here - being so close to all the historic sites in the centre of the city, and the great culture of Trastevere and the nearby neighbourhoods. You are directly up the street from important amenities (a block from the grocery store, less than 10 minutes to the nearest streetcar/tram), and you live on block away from one of the best vegetable markets located in Piazza San Cosimato. Trastevere is known for its beautiful streets, its restaurants, the picturesque architecture and its night life - you hardly need to leave the neighbourhood to enjoy Rome. But if you do, you are a 15-20 minute walk from the historic central district where you can visit the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Capitoline Hill - the list goes on. The Tiber River is a stones throw away from this place - I will always return to Trastevere when I want to visit Rome. Host: Dorotea helped me get from the airport directly to the flat with the help of her colleague Georgio. They are both extremely kind and helpful, even when I checked in at 1:00am due to a delayed flight. Dorotea was very quick to respond to any of my questions and emails, and help was sent immediately whenever I needed. The place was perfectly clean upon arrival, and check out was seamless. I highly recommend Dorotea as a host! Two thumbs up - so happy to have found this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Dorotea's apartment in Trastevere, the location is perfect! The building was super cute and the apartment was perfect for 3 adults and one baby! Giorgio the apartment manager was super friendly and helpful, he helped us a lot with restaurant recommendations and transportation. He even called a taxi for us upon our departure. Thanks Giorgio! In summary, our stay in Rome was wonderful and staying at this apartment was the best decision! :)

Nous avons été bien accueillis par Giorgio, très attentionné, avec beaucoup de bons conseils (une carte annotée !). Le logement était conforme à la description, très propre. Et l'emplacement parfait, vive Trastevere !

Great apartment set away from the chaos and tourists of Rome! Dorotea and Giorgio were very easy to get in touch with before we arrived, and the photos were exactly like the actual apartment. We appreciated the tips on where to eat around the neighborhood also. Thanks again!
