What a truly special place we've stayed in, we wanted to experience a traditional Rhodian house and we got exactly that. Whilst it almost looked like a museum piece, the house was comfortable, clean and in a perfect location. Well away from the busy main road and walking distance to quite a few good eateries. The bakery on the corner is fab. But what made our visit very special was Miranda's hospitality, the little touches she generously provided were heartwarming and made our holiday on Rhodes one of the most memorable we've had. Villas with pools have their use but if you're looking for a traditional, historical experience then look no further. We'll be back.

Miranda is absolutely wonderful host! She met us at the apartment, showed us everything and told us about everything. She also had some written instructions and suggestions as well as the Rhodes map. We found it extremely helpful!! She also prepared for us some fresh local bread and croissants, which we loved. Her house is an old authentic Greek house which consists of one very specious room with three beds(one for a child). There’s a small kitchen area and a large dining table. The house is beautifully decorated. It was definitely plenty of space for two of us. Since we rented a car, the location was perfect for us. It was 15 minutes from the airport and it was very easy to drive around the island. But, of course, it depends on your preferences. There was a tavern very close to the house. Good food, very convenient, never bothered us with any noise and they gave us 10% off for being their neighbors. We greatly enjoyed our stay😁 Thank you so much, Miranda!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Mirandas Unterkunft! Wie die anderen Kommentator:innen bereits erwähnt haben ist Miranda äußerst gastfreundlich und hat uns mit allem nötigen versorgt (lokale Köstlichkeiten, Kaffee, Busfahrpläne, Infos zu Soroni, ...) und uns sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts hat sie sich stets nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt. Dadurch, dass die Unterkunft sehr original traditionell erhalten ist, hatte man das Gefühl rhodische Kultur zu erleben ohne überhaupt das Haus zu verlassen, weshalb es auch gar nicht schlimm war, dass wir kein Mietauto hatten. Auch die Terrasse war wunderschön und hat uns sehr entspannte Abende beschert. Ansonsten gab es fußläufig eigentlich alles was man so braucht: zwei Mini-Märkte, eine Bäckerei, einen Strand (, den wir beinahe immer für uns hatten), einige Restaurants und viele süße Katzen :). Es war perfekt für einen authentischen Aufenthalt abseits der großen Hotelkomplexe und Touristenströme.

We loved our stay in the quiet village of Soroni. You can walk to the beach, the shops and local restaurants easily. The home has original furnishings so will suit those looking for an authentic stay in Greece. Miranda was so helpful and provided gorgeous pantry items and even provided transfer to and from the ferry port.

Danke Miranda, du hast unseren Aufenthalt versüßt mit deinen liebenswerten und köstlichen Aufmerksamkeiten. Dein Haus und deine Terasse waren für uns wunderbare Rückziehorte. Wir haben das Dorf, die Tavernen, die Bäckerei, die Geschäfte, die Spaziergänge im Dorf und den Dorfstrand sehr geliebt. Für uns war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt.
