Wow !!! Splendida Villa Sant'Ignazio !! Posizione magnifica, accoglienza dell'host (Davide) calorosa, pulizia della casa perfetta (una cosa sulla quale io sono particolarmente esigente), cucina super accessoriata, clima godibilissimo anche se a fine estate. Terrazza a picco sul mare da urlo !! Torneremo senz'altro presto per un soggiorno più lungo. Luigi&Gabriella

Davide's place is just a few steps from a fantastic sea overlook with a private table and coast access. The villa is in a small cove with cool breezes, tucked safely behind a security gate. The house itself is a nautical-themed gem with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, comfortably sleeping 7 people. The downstairs AC makes for a welcoming homecoming after exploring the area's attractions on hot days. We found the easy road and rail access of the location perfect for day trips to Genoa and Cinque Terre. But we found the charm of Boggiliso and it's beach really welcoming just a short walk up the coast. The recommendations for eating in the immediate area from Davide are fantastic, and if you're looking to use the great kitchen a well-stocked grocery store is also a short walk away. Davide and family met us in person when we arrived and were fantastic hosts during and even after our stay when we had left some articles behind. The places we really enjoyed on our stay were: Portifino - A 45 min trip via car, train/bus or ship is really worth a look, really a romantic picturesque village at the end of a rocky point. We would really recommend the boat ride from Genoa to Portifino. Just be aware to get back to the boat early at Portifino as the return is often overbooked. Genoa - 25 mins by train, 35 by car. There is so much to do from the old town to the Aquarium to local boat trips and dining. Be sure to get there early if by car as parking fills up fast on weekends and Fridays. Cinque Terre - 1.5 hours by car or train. Super picturesque, but also super crowded. Get their early and buy the 5 cities all-day ticket from the train station 2nd story shop in Monterosso al Mare. We would recommend you visit this location off-season, or be prepared for Disneyland sized crowds!
