Quaint little space with everything you need

The apartment was as advertised and was a fun place to stay if you enjoy something a bit quirky and enjoy walking to nearby locations. It was right on the edge of Old Town Winchester and the Loudoun Street Pedestrian Mall and directly across the street from the George Washington Hotel and the Piccadilly Pub. I was attending an event at Piccadilly Pub, so it was very convenient for me. Michele was very helpful with directions and suggestions about the local area. The stairs into the property are very steep, so it would not be an appropriate place for those with mobility issues.

Michelle was a gracious host and quick to respond to any requests or messages. The proximity to the downtown walking mall is perfect. There’s also a great restaurant and bar directly across the street. The apartment is cute and well decorated. We especially liked the giant world map on the wall. A couple of things to note… I don’t think there’s any way not to hear the train go by during the night. If you fall back asleep quickly, it’ll be fine. We did bring a number of fans as recommended in other reviews, but they really can’t drown out the train horn. Also, the mattress on the bed is very firm. Overall, a positive experience.

This was a great place to stay to experience Winchester, super close to restaurants and the Old Downtown. Small and quaint space, more than enough for the two of us who stayed there. Not noisy in the bedroom at all, but there is a bar across the street that is open till 1am on weekends, which was not a problem at all for my boyfriend and I who joined in on the fun. Michele was super helpful and responsive during our stay. This place was worth the price. Overall, great place!

This is the second time I've stayed at the Little Apartment. It is a basic, comfortable accommodation, and has been my first choice when seeking Airbnb locations during my visits to Winchester. An entrance to the Old Town walking mall, with a number of good restaurants, is two blocks away.
