The Holmes Cabin is a comfortable, bright 3 bedroom house located in one of Missoula's oldest neighborhoods. Walk just 10 minutes to access the north hills hiking trails; or 15-20 minutes to check out our amazing downtown. The Cabin is well set up for both short-term and long-term guests and has a private outdoor seating area/patio for long summer evenings. An open floor plan, lots of windows, plus wood and tile floors make the main floor bright, cozy and comfortable. With a very well appointed galley kitchen, the Holmes Cabin is perfect for long-term stays, for business travelers, and for families. The kitchen has everything you might need to feel truly at home (e.g. basic spices, food storage containers if you will be working in town for a while and want to bring lunches to work; cookie sheets and other baking pans, casserole dishes, mixing bowls, etc.). On the main floor, you'll find one bedroom, a full bathroom, the kitchen and a living/dining area with original softwood floors. The living room has a very comfortable corner couch and a TV with roku (but no cable channels). The Holmes Cabin has two larger bedrooms downstairs with large windows and good light, another full bathroom, and a washer/dryer. The large downstairs bedroom has a futon couch in case an additional bed is needed. The main floor has an air conditioner for hot summer days, while the downstairs stays cool all summer long. We have an outdoor patio/lounge area which provides great space for a picnic dinner or BBQ (there's a small charcoal grill as well). Our guests regularly remark about how comfortable the beds are - if you're looking for a good night's sleep you have found the right place! We feature high quality sheets and cozy down comforters as well (and lighter blankets for warm summer nights).
