Missoula · 整套民居 · 3室4床2.0卫 · 可住6人 · Modern Bungalow: Northside
Historic, newly remodeled bungalow in the heart of Missoula‘s Northside neighborhood. Three bedroom, two bath space with wood floors throughout, tall ceilings and bright light on a quiet, tree-lined street. Minutes from downtown in one of Missoula's oldest and most eclectic neighborhoods, the Modern Bungalow: Northside has everything you'll need for your visit. Long stays welcome. The Modern Bungalow is a three bedroom, two bath stand alone house.
This is a very nice, well-appointed house that takes advantage of space with minimal and artistic touches. Jennifer reached out via text a few times during our stay to make sure all was well and to see if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend.
Beautiful bungalow close to downtown! Such a cool little spot, and Jennifer was amazing to work with! Will definitely be staying again on my trips to Missoula!
Jennifer was very helpful. Checkin was very easy. She lives right by so when we requested extra bedding it was brought over immediately. The house was very clean and provided a great place for the price! We only stayed one night and it worked perfectly for our needs. I needed to call after I checked out to get something we left and Jennifer was extremely easy to work with and most helpful. Extra seating in the living room would have been nice but we made due and everything else was great.
Modern Bungalow is a ten-minute walk to downtown Missoula, a ten-minute bike ride (20-minute walk) to the University of Montana and is nestled in Missoula's eclectic Northside neighborhood. The Northside is a short bike ride to Greenough Park, the Rattlesnake trailhead and the Clark Fork River. Full of artists, writers and filmmakers, the Northside is on the register of national historic places and was once home to German, Italian and Asian immigrants. For many years it was the working-class heart of Missoula where residents worked in either the local saw mill or for the railroads. Today, the Northside is full of young families, hip millennials and longtime residents. Over the past ten years, the neighborhood has grown with new, modern-looking houses popping up all over creating a mix of historic homes and newly-built ones tucked into tree-lined streets. In keeping with its working class roots and the rise of company towns in the early part of the last century, houses on the Northside are built close together, which makes being a good neighbor an important characteristic of any Northsider. We love our neighborhood and we hope you will too!
We have public transportation a few blocks away and our close-in location allows you to walk downtown.
自我介绍
My husband and I moved to Missoula 17 years ago for a one-year job in a van packed with books. We never left. We've lived on a farm surrounded by fallen down fences where we had our two daughters. We've lived in the heart of Missoula in a tiny house with our daughters, two dogs and a wayward bunny. After ten years of farm life and two amazing years of living tiny, we want to share both of these spaces with travelers like you. We love our town, our community and our homes. We hope you will too.
